Catholic Charities’ is starting up a new Outreach program, the Mercy Mat Volunteer Ministry. Mercy Mats are sleeping mats for the homeless created from recycled plastic grocery bags. Each durable, lightweight mat provides a cushioned protective barrier against the cold and moisture.
