CaSSba's Gone Country

Catholic Charities’ will host their 23rd annual CaSSba 2010- CaSSba's Gone Country at the Drees Pavilion at Devou Memorial Overlook, on Sunday August 29th from 3:00-7:00 p.m. The Bank of Kentucky & KW Mechanical will serve as Event Sponsors. The event will feature classic hors d’oeuvres; with the support of McHale’s Catering. Said Vicky Bauerle, Event Coordinator: “We are really lucky to have our event at such a wonderful location. The Drees Pavilion is a gift to Northern Kentucky and we are privileged to host the CaSSba at Devou Park.”

The live and silent auctions are the cornerstone of the party and many outstanding gifts have been secured. A live auction sampling includes a Golf Get A Way to Ft. Meyer Florida for one week, condo sleeps 6-8 people, a Ft. Walton/Destin Condo Vacation, Crab Fest- invite 20 of your closest friends in you home for Crab and more, Wheel Barrel of Spirits, Waterford "Millennium" limited edition Champagne Bucket, Ft. Walton/Destin Florida Condo which sleeps 4-6, and 2 UK Men's Basketball ticket (The tickets are located on Rupp's Floor across from the UK Bench) game to be announced soon. Our silent auction will feature Reds and Bengals tickets, weekend get away packages and of course our traditional tuition certificates valued at $500 to area high schools and $1,000 certificates to Xavier University and a $500 tuition certification to Thomas More College.  The highlight of the day features the drawing for a cash prize of $5,000. “The reverse raffle adds some great drama to the day.” says Bill Jones, Catholic Charities’ executive director; “The excitement grows in this reverse raffle as everyone watches for their name not to be removed from the raffle board. The real excitement for us, though, is the commitment of our donors to assisting us in improving the lives of the more than 10,000 people we serve each year here in Northern Kentucky.”

Board member Marianne Fieger, who is co-chairing the event with Connie Noll, said “I am very excited to be involved with Catholic Charities. This event is just one way for the community to get involved in supporting the agency’s mission of providing healing and creating hope.” She added: “She added: “I would also like to special thank Brian Patrick,
Sacred Heart Radio, Son Rise Morning Show as our Masters of Ceremony.”
