Clinical Research -- Guide To Feeling Better Show

Clinical Research show with Brian Martens, LSW, MS, CCRC / Research team leader of mood disorders at the Lindner Center of Hope. Guide to Feeling Better shows attempt to dispel myths and misconceptions about the ways in which people can and do recover from mental health and substance use disorders. Today’s myth buster: All studies require taking medications or taking a ‘fake pill.’ The FACT: There are many studies that do not require medications or placebos. Other highlights include: the different types of research, the different types of mental health research, how do you know if the research is safe and how do people find out about research studies.


The Guide To Feeling Better shows discusses practical information for staying well and recovering from mental and substance use disorders. The video casts are produced monthly with different topics.
