Asset Building For Children

ABC

Catholic Charities’ ABC (Asset Building for Children) Program provides services to students designed to enhance the factors that help elementary school age children to develop important social skills. This approach enhances a child’s ability to succeed in school, teaches children/youth to avoid risky behavior and resist peer pressure, and encourages respect for self and others.

KELSO Choice

This conflict-management curriculum is based on the premise that every child is capable of becoming a peacemaker. Designed around Kelso the Frog, an appealing hand puppet, this program offers nine options students can choose from to resolve conflicts. Students learn to differentiate between problems they can handle on their own and those requiring adult intervention.
