St. Joseph Apt. Mini “Extreme Makeover” - April 12, 2015

Posted on Thursday, April 16, 2015
Thank you to over 50 volunteers that provided a mini “Extreme Makeover” at St. Joseph Apartments in Elsmere. Sixteen previously homeless families reside at the apartments owned and operated by Catholic Charities, Diocese of Covington.

The energetic and enthusiastic volunteers brightened the property with a fresh coat of paint on doorways and hallway stairs; installed a new sidewalk; and completed landscape weeding, trimming, tree removal and mulching.

“The volunteer project at St. Joseph Apartments is a wonderful example of transforming faith into action”, said Alan Pickett, Executive Director at Catholic Charities. We are grateful for product donations from Rizzo Brothers, Inc. (Covington), Boone Ready Mix (Burlington), Radius Construction Company, Inc. (Covington), and Bluegrass Commercial Group (Wilder). We are especially thankful to project leaders and team leaders for helping make the event a resounding success!
