Specific Duties
Provide temporary 24 hour care for infants while birth parents decide on a permanent plan for the child. Provide a home, love, and food, medical care and accept the infant as a member of the family.

Requirements
Must complete a detailed home study
Provide references
Complete a physical examination
Live in a clean and safe environment in the Diocese of Covington
Married for five years

Times for Service
24 hours a day, 7 days a week for a temporary period of time

Preparation/Training
1. Background check (criminal record/child abuse)
2. “Protecting God’s Children” training program
3. Orientation to the Agency and the position
