Job Title: Pregnancy, Adoption and Parenting Specialist

Catholic Charities, Diocese of Covington is seeking one individual to join a dynamic multi-dimensional team serving pregnant women who are planning a future of their children. This is a full time (40 hours a week) position. Candidates should be familiar with a full range of emotional health issues and particularly with grief and loss, single parenting and multigenerational living. Direct experience working in the area unplanned pregnancy and parenting preferred.

Exemplary Duties:
•    Implement agency programs of counseling and casework services to those experiencing an untimely pregnancy and providing parenting support after child arrives.
•    Provide counseling to those experiencing infertility and desiring adoption services in a Catholic agency.
•    Provide psycho-educational groups to low income parents.
•    Maintain the best practices in counseling and parent education through consultation and supervision;
•    Keep all records current and in compliance with the quality assurance program and accreditation standards. (Case documentation, time management, organization, attention to details, initiative, enjoys working with a team, and competency in basic computer skills.)

Requirements
•    Masters Degree – MSW, Counseling or equivalent.
•    Commitment to uphold the agency’s mission and values which arise from Catholic social teaching
